Significant flooding is occurring in Niagara-on-the-Lake, including on Niagara District Airport grounds.
Surface closures
Airport surfaces are now open, with the exception of Taxiway B and Taxiway C. Airport users are advised to be aware of standing water.
Pilots are reminded to refer to current NOTAMs for the latest information on runway closures and operational status.
Parking
Due to the flooding, parking availability is limited. A small number of parking spaces remain accessible, however, significant portions of our parking lot have been impacted.
Passengers travelling with Air Canada are encouraged to arrange to get dropped off if possible. If your vehicle is currently parked in our parking lot, we recommend checking it as soon as possible. Please note that Airport Road is currently closed.
