Allied Aviation serves as the airport’s Fixed Based Operator (FBO), providing professional ground handling and support.

Customs Clearance (AOE/15)
Niagara District Airport is a designated Airport of Entry (AOE/15) for international arrivals.
Reporting
Pilots must call the Canada Border Services Agency (CBSA) at 1-888-CANPASS (226-7277) at least two hours prior to arrival.

Aircraft Tie-Downs
Outdoor tie-down parking is available for aircraft that are based at Niagara District Airport. To inquire about availability or request an agreement, please contact us.
- Monthly Rate: $120
- Tie-down availability varies throughout the year
- All tie-downs require a signed agreement
- Termination requires 30 days written notice from the start of the month

Arrivals Procedure
Arrivals Procedure
Niagara District Airport is a controlled airport with a NAV CANADA Flight Service Station (FSS) on site.
To ensure safe and efficient operations, all pilots should be familiar with the following:
- All arriving aircraft should contact Niagara Radio prior to entry
- Standard circuit procedures apply
- Instrument arrivals are supported via RNAV (GNSS) procedures
- Pilots are encouraged to review the current Canada Flight Supplement (CFS) information and NOTAMs prior to arrival
After landing, follow the posted taxi instructions or FSS guidance to the main apron or designated parking area.

Aircraft Transient Parking
Short-term aircraft parking is available on the main apron, subject to operational requirements. Pilots planning extended stays should advise the FBO in advance.
Terminal Services & Amenities
The Niagara District Airport terminal offers amenities to support pilots, passengers, and visitors during their stay. Available services include:
- Free Wi-Fi
- Vending machine
- Water bottle refill station
- Pay phone
- Pilot lounge with coffee (located in the Allied Aviation hangar)
- Pet-friendly terminal with a designated pet relief area (west of the front entrance)
Hangar Facilities
Hangar space at Niagara District Airport is operated by on-site aviation tenants. Heated and unheated hangars may be available. Aircraft size and services vary by operator.
Airport staff can assist by connecting pilots and operators with the appropriate tenant.

Professional Flight Training
Located at Niagara District Airport, the St. Catharines Flying Club (SCFC) offers professional flight training for individuals pursuing Private and Commercial Pilot Licences.
Established in 1928, SCFC is one of Canada's oldest flying clubs and is a Transport Canada-certified Flight Training Unit. The club is also registered as an Ontario Career College and approved to deliver vocational training programs leading to Commercial Pilot and Flight Instructor certifications.
