Rates & Fees

Niagara District Airport maintains a published schedule of rates and fees applicable to aircraft operations, parking, and airport services.

2026 Fee Schedule

The following schedule outlines the current rates and fees applicable at Niagara District Airport.

All fees are subject to annual review and renewal. Unless otherwise noted:

  • Rates are effective January 1, 2026
  • HST applies at the time of invoicing
  • Fees are administered by the Niagara District Airport Commission

Landing Fees

Landing fees apply to based, non-based, domestic, and international aircraft and are calculated by maximum gross take-off weight (MGTOW).

Based aircraft receive a 50% discount on applicable landing fees.

2,499 kg – 9,999 kg $8.80 per 1,000 kg
10,000 kg and over $11.00 per 1,000 kg
Helicopters $8.80 per 1,000 kg
Military aircraft No charge

Locally Based Aircraft

  • Locally based aircraft below landing fee weight minimums are exempt from landing fees
  • These aircraft are subject to an annual Airport Facility Fee (AFF) of $160 per aircraft
  • Applicable fees are invoiced monthly based on NAV CANADA flight movement data

Airport Facility Fees (AFF)

Airport Facility Fees apply to enplaning passengers and certain locally based aircraft.

Enplaning passenger through terminal  $16 per passenger
Locally based aircraft below 2,499 kg $160 annually

Aircraft operators are responsible for providing accurate passenger counts. Failure to do so may result in charges based on the maximum number of passenger seats in the aircraft.

Tie-Down Parking

Tie-down parking is subject to a signed agreement and annual rate review.

Vehicle Parking

Passenger vehicle parking is complimentary.

For stays longer than 30 days, please contact Niagara District Airport directly.

To register a vehicle for extended stays, please call (905) 684-7447 ext. 101 or email us with the following information:

  • Name
  • Phone number
  • Date(s) of stay
  • Vehicle description and licence plate number

Staffing & Operational Support

Staffing and equipment support may be required for certain services, including airside escorts, disabled aircraft support, snow removal, landscaping, and planning requests.

Service Rate
Staff support $85 per hour
After-hours / callout response $135 per hour (minimum 3 hours)
Equipment support $85 per hour*

*Specialized equipment may incur higher costs

Snow Removal & Landscaping

  • Minimum half-hour charge
  • Rates dependent on staffing and equipment requirements

Disabled Aircraft Removal

  • Pricing determined on a case-by-case basis

Lease Rates

Lease opportunities are subject to availability and approval.

New lease or lease assignment $500 administration fee + legal costs

Special Events & Facility Rentals

Runways & Taxiways

A 50% deposit is required a minimum of 30 days in advance.

Location Rate
Runway 06/24 $1,600 per hour
Runways 01-19 and/or 11/29 $2,000 per day + staffing

Terminal & Meeting Space

Out-of-hours bookings (outside 9:00 a.m.–5:00 p.m.) require advance coordination.

Space Rate
Airport terminal building $200 per hour + cleaning, security and staffing costs
Boardroom - half day $150
Boardroom - full day $200
