Niagara District Airport, Air Canada, and The Landline Company announce expansion of motorcoach service at YCM

More daily departures will give Niagara’s travellers greater access to Toronto Pearson and Air Canada’s global network – without the driving or parking hassle

OCTOBER 13, 2026
FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE

Niagara-on-the-Lake, ON – The Landline Company and Air Canada are expanding their motorcoach service between Niagara District Airport (YCM) and Toronto Pearson International Airport (YYZ) from three to five daily departures, beginning December 14, 2026.

The service, which first launched at YCM in June of this year, lets travellers book Niagara (YCM) as the starting point or final destination of their Air Canada trip, with the motorcoach included in a single itinerary at no additional cost.

“We are pleased to expand and enhance our Landline offering in Niagara, providing customers with a smooth, integrated travel experience from the moment they leave the region,” says Ranbir Singh, director, regional airlines and markets at Air Canada. “This service continues to make it easier than ever for residents and visitors alike to access Air Canada’s extensive North American and international network through Toronto Pearson. We are happy with how well received it was and to be in a position to expand it.”

The new schedule adds two additional motorcoach departures from both airports every day, providing travellers with greater flexibility and more convenient connections to Air Canada’s global network through Toronto Pearson.

“This service is making travel more convenient for Niagara’s residents and visitors,” says Dan Pilon, chief executive officer at Niagara District Airport. “We’ve heard a lot of positive feedback from residents since the launch earlier this year, and many have told us they’d like more departure times. Increasing service to five daily departures and providing free parking gives travellers greater flexibility and makes it easier for people to start their trips right here from YCM.”

The service expansion reflects growing demand and the service’s increasing popularity. More Niagara travellers are opting for a streamlined, stress-free check-in experience and avoiding the driving and parking hassles.

"The drive from Niagara to Pearson can be stressful and expensive, especially with what seems like ever-rising gas prices," says Nick Johnson, vice president, commercial at The Landline Company. "With free parking at YCM and more departure times to choose from, travellers can skip the drive, relax on board, and arrive at Pearson ready for their flight."

Schedule beginning December 14, 2026 – 5x daily:
