Notice of planned power outage: November 6-7, 2026

Niagara-on-the-Lake Hydro has scheduled a planned power outage at Niagara District Airport from November 6, 2026 at 21:15 to November 7, 2026 at 03:00 local time to perform system upgrades.

During this time, the following service interruptions will be in effect:

• Airport surfaces: all airport surfaces will be closed
• Electrical services and lighting: electrical services and lighting throughout airport grounds, including in parking lots and all hangars, will be unavailable
• Terminal building: the airport terminal building will be closed
• Public washrooms: washroom facilities will be unavailable

Airport users are advised to plan accordingly and make any necessary arrangements in advance. Pilots are reminded to refer to our NOTAMs regarding the surface closure.

Staff will be onsite on November 6 from 23:00 to 23:59 to assist passengers arriving on the last Air Canada Landline motorcoach.
